The Lebanon Trail varsity girls team shot a school-record 300 to take 2nd place in the 6A McKinney Boyd Invitational golf tournament at Stonebridge Ranch CC on September 11th.

The girls beat 3 former state champion teams in this elite field. The team record is 11-1 for the season. Junior Olivia Mitchell shot a school-record 66 to place 2nd in the 76 player field. Madison Phung posted an even par 72 to finish 7th. Junior Dominique Gomez had her first hole-in-one on the par-3 eighth hole. She also posted a personal best score in the tournament.

The girls team's next action will be in the 6A Flower Mound Jaguar Fall Classic at Tour 18 GC on October 15th.
